There are no features unique to it that benefit me. For the price I don't see anything special about it as compared to software half the price. I like Skytools the best because it has a very complete and accurate deepsky database, It is excellent for observation planning, It has the best logging features I have ever seen, Its charts are very nice and easy to read. I have TheSky 6, Starry Night 5.82 Pro, Megastar, Guide, Deepsky 2004 and Skytools. Skytools, Skymap Pro, Deepsky, Megastar and Guide are half the price and have several advantages such as accuracy, easier to read charts, more deepsky objects, logging, observation planning, ,more solar system features and more. What are you planning on using the software for? There are other lower cost and possible more suitable alternatives depending on your needs that is a fraction of the cost.
